In 2015 the Open Source Portal Wamungo is awarding the international Wamungo 3D Print Award. The competition, carried out in cooperation with the non-profit organisation for sponsoring art and culture Don’t Tell Mama e.V., wants to help attract greater public attention and interest for the revolutionary 3D printing concept and to speed up its development.

Designers, artists, tinkerers, DIY enthusiasts and developers are called upon to participate – sources of ideas, visionaries and innovators – people who don’t follow trends, but create them. Are you one of them and are you over 18 years old? Do you want to open up new horizons with your project? Then take part in the Wamungo 3D Print Award – the new German Maker Prize.

[av_dropcap1W[/av_dropcap1]e are looking for totally new ideas and inventions for the Wamungo 3D Print Award 2014, having trend-setting styles and functionality. Projects having the potential to set the course for innovative design. The Wamungo 3D Print Award 2015 rewards unique futuristic 3D projects.
The condition for participating. Your project has to be digitally printable.
Three cash prizes are on offer to the winners.
The deadline for the entry period is September 30th 2015.
Awards will be handed out in November 2015.
Everyone taking part is a winner. All entries will be uploaded to Wamungo and made available to the Community for sharing. Therefore, your contribution will in any case benefit 3D enthusiasts.
However, after checking, we reserve the right not to consider contributions which transgress the bounds of decency or legal regulations.

Register here now as a participant for the Wamungo 3D Print Award 2015. You will receive an email with all further information, conditions of participation, etc.
The cash prizes will be awarded by a jury made up of members/employees of the Open Source Portal Wamungo, the non-profit organisation “Don’t tell Mama”, sponsors and independent artists/art critics. We will inform you of the exact structure of the jury in good time before the prizes are awarded.
There is no right of appeal.
